LAMINAR AIR FLOW CABINET

We offer a comprehensive range of high performance horizontal, vertical Laminar Flow Clean Air Cabinets. It has a modular construction, combining aesthetic appeal with functional utility and efficiency. These are designed to meet the filtration, illumination, noise & vibration requirements, providing air to meet class 100 (class I) conditions, to the extent applicable.

These laminar Flow configurations find extensive application in Scientific, Medical and Industrial application where a localized high quality clean working environment is essential. These are designed to provide an atmosphere free from airborne particles with laminar air flow on the work table. These are also ideal for microbiological manipulations, work with bioassays sterility testing & research work, vial filling & bunging operation in parenteral units & for general dry-processing work in semiconductor industry etc.

 


 Construction

All Laminar Flow Clean Air cabinets are basically constructed with an outer body of Mild Steel duly powder coated. The inner work table is made of stainless steel. The side panels have windows of thick acrylic for viewing purposes. 

The front of the cabinet is provided with a transparent acrylic door mounted on hinges which is very easy to use.

 Air Flow and Filtration
Laminar Flow principle involves double filtration of air. Atmospheric air is drawn through pre filter and is made to pass through highly effective HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Air) filters having efficiency rating as high as 99.99% with cold DOP and 99.97% with hot DOP, thus retaining all airborne particles of size 0.3 micron and larger. Double filtered air blows in laminar flow through the work table at designed velocity of 70 FPM-110FPM(Avg. Air flow velocity 90 FPM)
 

 Blower Motor Assembly

Duly balanced, direct drive highly efficient centrifugal blower units sized to provide adequate air flow volume over the entire surface of HEPA filter. These are directly coupled to an inbuilt motor and operate with minimum noise level i.e. lower than 65 db on scale and Vibration less than 2.5 um.

 Lighting
The work area is properly illuminated by diffused, glare free fluorescent light.
 
 UV Germicidal Lamp

An in built UV germicidal lamp helps in killing of bacteria and other microorganisms.

 Pressure Manometer

The instrument is provided with a pressure manometer which indicates the air pressure.

 Power Requirement

The instrument is designed to operate on 220V AC Supply.

A fully automatic dedicated microprocessor helps in monitoring all the functions of the Laminar Air flow Cabinet.


The advanced microprocessor monitors the air flow in real time to prevent sample contamination. A high quality membrane keypad permits control settings and access to default settings. The bright LEDs display the ON/OFF for blower operation, UV germicidal light, Fluorescent light, and Mains. A high quality air velocity sensor helps in sensing the actual air flow in FPM. This microprocessor warns of any deviations in the air velocity from normal velocities.A bright LCD displays all the parameters including date, time, air velocity and timer. An inbuilt UV timer helps in the decontamination by switching ON the UV tube for a certain interval of time.  Construction

CLM 160 FUME HOOD

FUME HOOD

The fume hood is an important safety device in any laboratory. Fume Hoods are recommended for exhaust from the hood working area, of gases, vapour, toxic particles, odour to improve working environment of people who regularly handle toxic substances. These reduce personal exposures and odour level in the laboratory. These are designed to exhaust toxic or otherwise harmful vapours etc., for protecting laboratory personnel & equipments. A motor-blower exhaust system generates negative pressure within the hood, extracting the contaminated air from the work area and expelling it into the atmosphere and preventing the fumes from escaping into the room. These are recommended for various laboratories like Bio-Chemistry, Pharmaceutical units, printed circuit etching/cleaning etc. These are capable of handling corrosive fumes of sulphuric and hydrochloric acids etc. If work-area walls are lead-lined (Optional), it can be effectively used for Radio-Isotopic applications.

 Construction

The main body of the fume hood is made of Mild Steel. The working table top is of stainless steel sheet. A small S.S. Sink, water tap and connections for inlet and outlet of water are a standard feature. A sliding door made of acrylic, moves vertically up/down with counter balanced weight operated by steel rope. The unit is fitted with fluorescent light & a gas cock for gas/air supply. Two/Three drawers & storage compartments are provided under the working table. The front facing panel is fitted with 15/5 Amp. socket with switches for exhaust system and fluorescent tubes.

 Motor & Blower Assembly

An exhaust centrifugal fan of 0.75 HP, 1440 RPM (Crompton) is installed at the top to throw out the toxic fumes.

CLM 3050 PHARMACY ISOLATOR

PHARMACY ISOLATOR

isolation systems provide inherently superior sterility compared to open front clean air devices such as laminar flow clean benches and Class II biological safety cabinets. USP797 guidelines specify that isolators may be situated in an area subject to less severe environmental controls compared with open front clean air devices. The pharmacy isolators are also for H1N1 applications. The pharmacy isolators are a cost-effective solution especially for lower-volume pharmacies. They reduce operating and renovation costs, take up less space, and are easier to maintain. The negative pressure, recirculating model is suitable for work involving hazardous materials, antineoplastic, or cytotoxic compounding applications. 

The work zone and pass-thru interchange are under negative pressure to the room in order to maintain operator protection.
When hazardous drugs compounds have the potential to volatilize, the negative pressure, recirculating isolator should be selected.

 Construction

 Air Flow and Filtration


The ambient air is pulled through the inlet pre-filter and then through the HEPA filter. This filtered air is then made to enter the work area. This creates a laminar and particle free environment inside the isolator to protect the work material inside the chamber and pass - thru. Now the air from the work zone and pass-thru is quickly purged by the fans to keep the area clean. The main fan pulls approximately 90% of the purged air back to the plenum and passing through the HEPA down flow filter again, it is recirculated back to the work zone and pass-thru. This high rate of air flow re-circulation helps to prolong filter life. The carelabmed double-wall design creates a dynamic Chamber plenum which surrounds contaminated areas with negative pressure, preventing the possibility of contamination from leaks in filter seal, gasket or cabinet structure.  MAXIMUM PATIENT PROTECTION AND STERILITY
  • The combination of down flow and exhaust filters gives the carelabmed Pharmacy Isolator a fully integrated envelope for product and operator protection in all configurations.
  • The ULPA supply filter provides clean air to the work surface in a gentle vertical laminar flow.
  • Laminar (unidirectional) airflow within work zone and pass-thru enables recovery of chamber atmosphere to ISO Class 3 conditions within 3 minutes following a worse-case contamination event. The entire work zone air is changed 20-30 times per minute.
  • Airlock pass-thru ensures work zone remains sterile during insertion and removal of items. Items are inserted into the pass thru, surface decontaminated, the outer pass thru door is closed, while the atmosphere is allowed to purge. Finally, the inner pass-thru vertical door is opened from within the work zone in order to transfer materials into the main work area.
  • Vertical sliding door between pass-thru and work zone minimizes ingress of particulates from the pass-thru during transfer operations compared with conventional swing door designs.
  • Optional disposal system enables smoother work flow and minimizes transfers in order to enhance patient protection and sterility. Sharps may be disposed through the work surface into disposal bins while minimizing contamination of the work zone. Interface between sharps disposal bin and isolator is aerosol tight to avoid ingress of contamination during the disposal operation.
  • Safe-change cuff rings enable glove change with zero risk of contamination.

CLM 4012 PASS BOX

PASS BOX

Introduction 

The pass box is equipment normally installed on the wall between the clean room and any other room. It is used for transfer of material from and into the clean room, without contaminating the air of clean room and without having to open room door. This is achieved with the help of interlocking type doors of pass box.

Principal of Working 
This equipment is installed on the wall between the clean room and the other room. The pass box has two doors at its extreme ends. One door opens in the clean room and other door open in the other room. These doors are electrically interlocked type so that any one door can be opened at a time. This avoids direct flow of air from the clean room to the other room or vice versa. This also obviates the need to open the clean room door frequently for transferring of material from & into the clean room. Thus, it helps in achieving the aim of material transfer without disturbing the cleanliness level of the clean room. 

Construction 
The complete body is made of stainless Steel. Each hinged door has wide glass viewing window, through which material kept in the pass box can be seen. These doors are electrically interlocked type, so that any one door can be opened at a time. UV & fluorescent light are a standard feature.

CLM 4013 PCR WORK STATION

PCR WORK STATION

 PCR work station has been designed to create an application solution for the manipulation and amplification of DNA and RNA. Cross-contamination during amplification of DNA and RNA can lead to results that are inaccurate. These results cost the lab technician valuable time and consume expensive reagents. Incorporating a clean air system into the procedure minimizes the potential for cross-contamination. 


This is a compact laminar flow enclosure that reduces the risk of contamination while performing polymerase chain reaction experiments. Particulate matter is swept away by a constant flow of Class 100 HEPA filtered air.

In addition, the PCR Workstation has a built-in UV sterilizer. Between amplifications simply place all pipettes, tubes and flasks in the cabinet and press the UV switch. After five minutes, the UV light will automatically switch off and potentially contaminating DNA and RNA will have been destroyed.

The compact design ensures that the PCR Workstation takes up no more bench space than normally used for PCR work, while the open front gives unhindered access for sample preparation. 

The work area dimensions are 35.5"W X 24"D X 24"H. Any other sizes can also be manufactured as per the customer's requirement. 

The high efficiency centrifugal fan helps to maintain a constant flow of clean air inside the workspace.

tissue culture rack is widely used for tissue culture in plants & other tissue culture work in a culture lab.

 Construction

The tissue culture rack frame is made of Mild steel pipe duly powder coated. The clear size of the shelf is 48" L X 18"D. The top of the shelf is made of thick hylem sheet. The complete rack is mounted on four castors with brakes for easy movability. The shelf to shelf distance is approximately 16". The tissue culture rack includes florescent tubes along with the Incandescent lamps. Optionally Ultra violet germicidal lamps are also provided. Electronic ballasts linked to the lamps & tubes ensure no flickering effect.
